Delvin re-elected Senate Republican Caucus deputy whip

Senate Republicans re-elected Richland Sen. Jerome Delvin today
as caucus deputy whip. He has held the post since 2006. As
deputy whip, Delvin will help monitor attendance during floor
sessions and caucus meetings.
“This coming year will be an important one for
Washington,” Delvin said. “We have vital work to do to balance
the budget and preserve our economy. I’m honored that my
colleagues have chosen me again for this position and I’m eager
to get to work.”
Leaders of the Senate Republican Caucus provide direction
for the caucus and execute policies that best serve the people
of the state, each member’s constituents and fellow caucus
members.
Sen. Delvin assumes his duties immediately.
