OLYMPIA…The Senate Republican Caucus today announced which Republican senators will serve on the various Senate policy committees for the 2007 and 2008 legislative sessions. They are:

Senate Republicans will release a full list of their ranking members on each committee before the legislative session begins on Jan. 8. They will also add a new member from the 14th District to certain committees once that member is named, probably the first week in January.

Members of Senate Republican leadership, announced Nov. 30, are:

  • Caucus Chair – Sen. Linda Evans Parlette, Wenatchee;
  • Floor Leader – Sen. Mark Schoesler, Ritzville;
  • Whip – Sen. Dale Brandland, Whatcom County;
  • Deputy Leader – Sen. Cheryl Pflug, Maple Valley;
  • Caucus Vice Chair – Sen. Dan Swecker, Rochester;
  • Deputy Floor Leader – Sen. Mike Carrell, Lakewood; and
  • Deputy Whip – Sen. Jerome Delvin, Richland.
