Olympia…State Senate Republicans elected Richland Sen. Jerome Delvin today as caucus deputy whip.

“My four years’ experience as assistant floor leader in the House of Representatives has prepared me to step into leadership in the Senate,” Delvin said. “I’m honored that my colleagues have chosen me for this position and I’m eager to make a contribution.”

Delvin steps into the new position immediately.

Sen. Delvin represents the 8th Legislative District that includes Richland, Kennewick, Benton City and Prosser.
